Optoma’s New Lower Price Points Makes ThemeScene Award Winning Full HD Projectors Unbelievably Affordable

London, July 2010 – Optoma today invites you to experience the best in Full HD home cinema with dazzling colours and razor sharp images at even better value. Beginning in July, the price of the ThemeScene HD82 will drop by £200, now priced at just £1999 RRP. On top of that, the ThemeScene HD86 (inc stand lens) will now be priced from only £2799 RRP, reflecting a price reduction of £600.

 

The HD82 offers an incredible 20,000:1 (680:1 ANSI contrast for “real-world” performance) contrast ratio and 1080p full HD. The HD82’s high-end specifications deliver an unforgettable big-screen cinema experience, without the let down of expensive popcorn or limited leg room. Installation is easier than ever before, thanks to Optoma’s innovative PureShift technology, which allows you to adjust the screen position without moving the projector.

 

The HD86 brings Full HD 1080p unsurpassed image quality and full installation options to the ThemeScene range. This projector integrates full lens shift, a choice of high grade lenses and the latest processing technologies. Using the latest DLP® technology from Texas Instruments the HD86 is the most powerful home cinema projector in the ThemeScene line-up with market leading ANSI contrast performance.

 

The stylish gloss-black finish of the HD82 and HD86 complements any contemporary living space, making these projectors the perfect option for any home. The ThemeScene HD82 and HD86 also guarantee cinema-standard picture quality, with 24 frames per second to display movies exactly as the director intended.
