The Optoma NuForce BE2 are a really good set of earphones with good sound quality, comfortable to wear while working out in the gym and with long lasting 10-hour battery life.
The NuForce BE2 have an understated design that makes them look stylish in the ears so you can also wear them while commuting on the way to work.
The NuForce BE2 earphones are solidly built, yet lightweight weighing just 13.5 grams. The low weight and angled nozzles really adds to the comfort while helping the earphones stay in the ears.
The NuForce BE2 have very good sound balance with clear bass and crisp treble which allows for detailed vocals and instrument separation in the 20Hz - 20kHz soundstage so you can tell where the instrument is.
They isolate sound well. There is a good bass response. There is a good clarity. It’s not muddled or muddy.
It is a decent fit and they are comfortable.
If you are looking for a relatively mid-quality in-ear headphones for general purpose, commuting, walking around and sport – these are ideal.
They are super light, easy to use, no fuss and good sound quality. I recommend them.
“For £49.99, we were left pretty impressed by what Optoma managed to pack into the NuForce BE2s. If you're a brand conscious person, you'd have to spend a lot more to get the same amount of features, and let's face it, why would you want to do that? Given the playback time, fit, and the IPX5 water-resistance, the NuForce BE2s could end up being a pretty great option for the gym.”
One for Sports fans
The BE2s are an in-ear style headphone, and the only one here featuring IPX5 waterproofing – ideal for working out. Though quite chunky, they fit in the ear snugly, making a good seal, and when not in use a magnetic backing allows you to connect them together to avoid losing them.
Audio-wise, they’re quite bright with a balanced sound, offering around 10 hours battery life
The most amazing fit ever
The noise cancellation is epic. Of all earbuds I have ever tried, these fit amazingly well. I am pretty impressed.
Overall they sound really well. The sound is very crisp.
For the price they are very good.
And the fit is amazing! They are one of the best fits I have evert tried with earbuds.
“ Excellent wireless In-Ear headphone for a super price...It's difficult to judge a product that costs "only" a little over 50 €, you just expect something average with poor sound quality. But Optoma does not only offers a wireless low-cost headphones, but a product with a battery-life that allows you to relax in your daily activities and to use them for sport...4.6 / 5 Stars”
“If you want a good pair of headphones for a good price, you are in good hands with the BE2.”
“All in all, the Nuforce BE2 is a fantastic headphone that can guarentee great sound.”
“We find that the BE2 is very affordable, sounds good, and keeps its ear tips where they're supposed to be. As an added bonus, the rear of the BE2’s driver housings are magnetic, allowing them to stick together when they hang from the neck, reducing the risk of accidentally losing them when not in use.Not only do the ear tips stay in place around the BE2’s large sound channels, the tips also offer excellent isolation, even on our noisy NYC subway commute. We got around the 10 hours of battery life claimed by Optoma, which is impressive considering the relatively small size of the BE2’s battery housing…the overall quality build and sound in this affordable headphone makes the BE2 easy to recommend.”
The sound is clear and surprisingly detailed, and the Spin Fit ear tips (yes, the idea is to twist them into your ear) offer a surprisingly good level of passive noise isolation
A decent level of separation allows you to comfortably pick out individual instruments and voices as they populate the song around you, and there’s even a semblance of soundstage. Most music sounds good, but artists like Cat Stevens and Aimee Mann, with their simple, predominantly acoustic arrangements, are a particular joy.
The BE2s are solidly built, with all the features you’d expect from a pair of Bluetooth earphones in 2017, and they boast a rich, balanced, fun sound.
“With its current price placement, I can recommend the NuForce BE2 to you, especially if you are looking to buy a device from a well-known company, without spending a lot of money on it”
Geekanoids YouTube review of optom NuForce BE2 starts at minute 5:50.
“They are not heavy by any means and are very comfortable to wear.”
“These produce really clear audio. They go nice and low in the lower frequencies. And a nice smooth sound to them as well. Not a muddy sound at all, just very buttery, very effortless. A great amount of detail.”
“With regards to the Sound quality, the Nuforce BE2 delivers convincing performance. The 6 mm converter does a good job. The bass goes deep and controlled down without build pressure in the ear. The heights are clear without being intrusive, the vocal layers have substance...Price/ Performance: very good”
If you want a decent, tough and economic set of headphones they’re a great choice. Recommended.
I’ve been using them for my daily drivers for the last couple of weeks and although they’re somewhat aimed at a fitness market they’ve been perfect for normal use.
The specs line up – does the experience? Yes. The BE2’s are as hardy as promised and have reasonable if not great sound quality for Bluetooth in-ear headphones.
The Optoma NuForce BE2 is everything you would want in a wireless earphone. Lightweight, comfortable and ideal for using whilst working out. The cable is great as it is slightly weighted to stop it bouncing all over the place during workouts. The SpinFit eartips stay in your ears. I even tried shaking my head and they stayed in place.
The biggest surprise was the sound quality. The BE2’s are not bass heavy, in fact they are slightly bass light but in a good way as the midrange and treble shine with these. They had good clarity in the mid and treble range and with a reasonable amount of separation. The BE2s are really enjoyable to listen to your music.
The Optoma NuForce BE2 is a great sounding, IPX5 wireless earphone that are highly recommended.
“The Optoma NuForce BE2 is made of a good material, has great processing quality, a decent sound and a very stable Bluetooth connection. In addition, they have a long battery life and great protection against sweat and rain. If you want very good bass then NuForce BE2 are the product to get.”
"They offer far more than you’d expect. There are plenty of things to enjoy: great isolation, splendid sound quality, nifty features and design, good battery life. They are almost everything we want from a pair of budget earbuds".
"If you’re looking for an affordable pair of headphones that have a build quality that will last you for a very long time, Coupled with a pleasant (and comfortable) listening experience, look no further than the Optoma Nuforce BE2’s".
“Rarely do I say that I actually enjoy a Bluetooth sound product, especially earphones. But Optoma's NuForce BE2 far exceeded my general expectations, even if it fell a bit short in certain areas. Those shortcomings, however, can easily be overlooked by some, considering its price. $50 is will get you the BE2, which is another one of its strengths. Honestly, I was happier with this (again, in general) than some other wireless earbuds that I've tested that cost a whole lot more.”
“Here we go again, yet another solid pair of headphones have shown up on my desk. The Optoma NuForce BE2 headphones are Optoma’s latest offering and they’re so nicely priced for what you get!”
“If you’re looking for a pair of Bluetooth headphones that are sweat proof, are built well, are priced right, and sound really good for the price. Then the NuForce BE2’s are worth your time.”
“Optoma NuForce BE2 headphones earn a 2017 Techaeris Top Pick Award!”
“Optoma did an excellent job creating such a great wireless headphone for $50. Throughout our testing, we never once felt that the NuForce BE2 was offering a sub-par experience compared to its more expensive siblings.”
“Compared to the Jaybird Freedom, which is four times as expensive, the Optoma NuForce BE2 offers over twice the battery life and much better sound quality. The Monster Clarity HD sound great but feel cheap and are more expensive. For the price, it’s hard to beat the Optoma NuForce BE2.“
"These not only give a staggering 10hour battery life, they have a built in microphone which is essential. Overall, these deliver the goods!"
“We’ve liked the NuForce line for its ability to deliver solid audio fidelity that punches above its price range, and the BE2 stand as a real testament to that.” Ted’s main issue with the BE2 is that it isn’t aptX compatible, but he recommended the BE6i or BE Sport3 for Android users, which is another nice call out!"
