Job Description

·        Receiving into the Warehouse defective Product deliveries from Customers.

·        Unpacking Defective Products in preparation for repair in the Workshop.

·        Booking Defective Products into the Computer System. (Data entry).

·        Packing Repaired Products in readiness to be despatched back to Customers.

·        Re-packaging stock items that have suffered damaged cartons.

·        Printing labels using specialist label printing software.

·        Re-labelling cartons (sometimes in significant volumes).

·        Re-packaging cartons (sometimes in significant quantities) to change the types of

          accessories contained within.

·        Assembling products on pallets, including shrink wrapping and strapping.

·        Disposal of unwanted packaging material, such as cardboard, shrink wrap and strapping.

·        General Warehouse Duties.

Candidate Specification

·        Fit and Healthy – ability to handle individual heavy products and to move full pallets from

         one ground floor location to another.

·        Good methodical and tidy way of working.

·        Good Eyesight, being able to see labels containing small fonts.

·        Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly.

·        Excellent attention to detail especially important for data entry.

·        Good clear communicator, verbally and in writing.

·        Confident user of computers to facilitate accurate data entry.

·        Proficient in Email.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel would be an advantage.

·        Experience of working in a similar environment would also be an advantage.
