The new Photon Life Series - Optoma gives three good reasons to leave lamp projectors behind

Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom 2025 – September 2025 – Optoma, a world-leading brand in visual display technology, launches the Photon Life series, which eliminates the need for lamps entirely and delivers the best results. The Photon Life PH31 is available now, and the Photon Life PK31 and flagship Photon Life PK32 will arrive later in September and early October 2025.

The Photon Life Family: Innovation Meets Simplicity
The Photon Life series marks the next chapter in Optoma’s innovation journey, seamlessly succeeding several of Optoma’s most established lamp-based projectors. Designed with sustainability in mind, the range embraces lamp-free technology to align with evolving environmental legislation while delivering outstanding performance. Users will also benefit from the hassle-free projectors as bulb replacements are a thing of the past.

The following Photon Life models will take the place of their predecessors:
• HD146X → Photon Life PH31
• UHD35 → Photon Life PK31
• UHD38x → Photon Life PK32
This transition ensures that customers continue to enjoy the same high-quality experiences Optoma is known for, now enhanced with the efficiency, longevity, and eco-conscious design of the Photon Life range.

Photon Life offers ultimate in-home projection, flexibility and visual performance. Designed for modern living spaces, these compact, lightweight projectors can easily be moved between rooms, turning any space into a cinema, gaming hub, or big-screen sports venue. They offer effortless setup thanks to auto focus and auto keystone correction. All three projectors in the Photon Life series use RGB LED technology to deliver vibrant and energy-efficient performance, with a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. The LED light sources can be replaced to increase service life and reduce additional costs. Whether for movies, gaming, or sharing content, they deliver crystal-clear images with high colour accuracy. A 150-inch screen for everyone, everywhere - no complicated installation required.

Designed to deliver the best results and bring people together, Optoma's new Photon Life series is the perfect addition to any home. It evokes emotion and transforms everyday moments into unforgettable experiences. Catering to the different needs of individuals, the Photon Life series offers three different models:

The Photon Life PH31 is the obvious choice for cosy nights in. It´s simple setup and sustainable LED light source make it flexible and convenient for everyone, opening a world of future-proofed projection, with 1500 ISO lumens of brightness (2,700 ANSI lumens). In addition, DCI-P3 colour accuracy provides rich, realistic colours, which are supported by the integrated 5W speakers. The Photon Life PH31 is currently available at MSRP of £449.99

For those who want true 4K projection the Photon Life PK31 adds another dimension. Thanks to the built-in, state-of-the-art LED technology it delivers crisp, detailed 4K images and smooth performance, making every piece of media more immersive, and every game more lifelike. It can project 4K UHD images with HDR support and delivers brighter, more vivid colours with 900 ISO lumens (HK Brightness 1,600). In addition, 90% DCI-P3 colour accuracy provides rich, realistic colours, and features integrated 5W speakers. The Photon Life PK31 will be available in September with an MSRP of £699.99.

The Photon Life PK32 is the ultimate expression of Photon Life. Boasting built in 4 LED technology; it creates deeper colours and brighter images with less latency. This model also offers 1,100 ISO lumens (2,000 HK) and 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, ensuring exceptional image quality. The Photon Life PK32 is the brightest of the Photon projectors. The two integrated 5W speakers provide rich sound. With an input lag of just 4.6ms, it is ideal for competitive gaming and home cinema enthusiasts. The Photon Life PK32 will be available in September with an MSRP of £799.99
