Optoma Demonstrates 3D Projection at The Gadget Show Live

London, 7th April 2011: If you're yet to see 3D projection in action, come and visit Optoma at this year’s Gadget Show Live at the Birmingham NEC, on the ebuyer and Expansys stands, where we will be demonstrating our 3D projectors and other products. Exclusive offers will be available throughout the show.

Ebuyer stand

There will be a live demonstration of the new Optoma affordable big screen 3D solution for the whole family – HD600X projector and 3D-XL projector adapter.

The world’s first 3D projector adapter, the 3D-XL, is one of the most sought after products currently in the home cinema projection market. Essentially it’s a product that makes big screen 3D projection available in the home. The image quality and eminence of the active 3D offered by this small black box when used with an Optoma DLP® projector is impressive to say the least.

The HD600X 3D compatible HD Ready projector is the best selling 720p projector on the market. It offers digital cinema performance at an image size of up to 300 inches. HD gaming, sport and movies are not to be missed on this projector. 1600 lumens brightness and HD connectivity cumulate to a top quality HD Ready projector, but it’s the affordability and low running cost of this product that really make you appreciate these features.

Also available to buy on the stand is the highly affordable Optoma ES515, a versatile projector with 2600 Lumens brightness for use day or night. Another Ebuyer only display will see the Optoma PK102 Pico Pocket Projector, a mobile phone sized gadget able to project content from your handheld device onto nearby surfaces.

Expansys stand

There will be live demonstrations of two products from the highly popular Optoma Pico Pocket Projector range; the PK301 and PK201. The PK301, a fully featured pocket projector for the professional boasts a micro SD card slot for up to 32GB. Despite the PK301 being a diminutive 120 x 70 x 30mm (WxDxH), it takes up no more space than your average smart phone, yet is capable of projecting an image up to 120 inches.

The PK201 is also ideal for projecting photos, movies or PowerPoint® presentations using the micro SD slot which is capable of accepting cards of up to 32GB. In many situations, that means there is no need to carry a source device. There’s also no need to carry a heavy and bulky power supply as the Pico PK201 has a rechargeable battery capable of giving up to an hour and a half of use on a single charge.

This year’s Gadget Show Live takes place at the Birmingham NEC. The event is open for an exclusive trade and press preview on April 12th and then to the general public from 13th - 17th.
