Optoma to Display Big Screen 3D for the Home at The Bristol Show 2011

London, 7th February 2011 Sound and Vision, The Bristol Show, the UK’s biggest and best hi-fi, home cinema and technology show, will feature an exclusive preview of the new affordable big screen 3D solution for the whole family – Optoma HD67N projector and 3D-XL projector adapter. Enjoy 3D movies, 3D gaming and live 3D sports all on a massive screen- up to 300”. The big screen solution can be used all year round and is a quality alternative to a 3D TV, offering a superior experience at a fraction of the price. Optoma invites visitors to experience a live 3D demonstration in Room 410 on the 4th floor.

 

Optoma 3D-XL Projector Adaptor

The new Optoma 3D-XL projector adapter simply connects between a 3D source and a DLP 3D-XL Ready projector for a big screen fully immersive 3D experience. The 3D-XL supports frame packing (3D Blu-ray) and side-by-side (SKY 3D) transmissions and comes with 2 x HDMI 1.4a ports allowing connection to both 3D sources It also comes with Optoma’s latest DLP link (Active Shutter) 3D Glasses that syncs the projected image directly with the projector ensuring instantaneous performance.

 

Optoma HD67N HD DLP Projector

The HD67N is fully compatible with the Optoma 3D-XL and includes full support for NVIDIA® 3D Vision™. This compact HD Ready projector transforms any living room into a home cinema using the latest projector technology. It combines bright 2000 ANSI Lumens with perfectly balanced colour rendition and incredible light and shade detail.

 

ThemeScene HD87 Full HD DLP Projector

Visitors to The Bristol Show will also have the opportunity to see the latest ThemeScene HD87 reference 1080p projector on show in the REL room. The ThemeScene HD87 is the successor to the widely acclaimed HD86 and the new flagship Full HD home cinema projector of the ThemeScene range. The HD87 integrates full lens shift, a choice of high grade lenses and the latest processing technologies for outstanding image quality and full installation options.

 

The Sound and Vision, The Bristol Show will take place in Bristol from Friday 25th  to Sunday 27th February 2011. Optoma will be showing a range of products including the Optoma 3D solution in room 410. Representatives from Optoma will be available to speak to during the show.

 

The Optoma HD67N projector is available now from selected UK retailers and online stores, priced at £499.99 inc. VAT. The 3D-XL will be available to buy across the UK from the end of February 2011, priced at £249.99 inc. VAT.

 

The ThemeScene HD87 projector is available now from selected UK home cinema retailers. The recommended retail price for the HD87 is:

·         HD87 with long throw lens - £2999 (inc VAT)
