Gadget Show visitor warning: Brace for a blast to the senses

Gadget fans attending this year’s Gadget Show will be virtually transported to the snowy alpine slopes with 3D snowboarding action on Ebuyer.com’s stand (L60 & K65) and sped across to a F1 race track with Box (stand number V70).

Visitors to the Ebuyer.com stand can experience the intensity of 3D snowboarding on the alpine slopes with Optoma’s GT1070X Full 3D projector. Show-goers will be immersed in both sound and vision from Ebuyer’s Sond Audio Bookshelf Speakers and Optoma’s 3D projection system.

They can then transport themselves to Monaco on Box’s stand and feel the thrill of Formula One driving. Gadget fans can try out Box’s fantastic F1 simulator with the action shown on Optoma’s gaming projector GT1080.  And they can try out Optoma’s NuForce’s new uDAC3.  This natty little device improves, amplifies and converts digital audio files from a PC or Mac allowing music lovers or gamers to hear more detail in their music than ever before.

The uDAC3 high resolution USB Digital Audio Converter connects computer audio with either a home stereo, desktop sound system or headphones.  It has three analogue and digital outputs allowing users to connect their music to headphones, active speakers, power amplifier and/or home audio system.

Optoma’s Territory Manager, Nick Price, said: “The UDAC3 elevates audio tracks and games sound effects to a whole new level.”

Optoma is also demonstrating its ultra mobile ML750e projector on Box’s stand.  Weighing just 380g, this LED-powered projector fits easily in the palm of your hand.  It has a WXGA resolution, a brightness of 700 ANSI (LED) and incorporates a media player, native office viewer and built-in speaker. Projection without a laptop is straightforward using the built-in memory, a microSD card slot or USB connection. Presentations can be wirelessly displayed from a PC, Mac or mobile device using the optional mini Wi-Fi dongle that connects to the ML750e’s USB port.

There will be special offers exclusive to the show on both stands and Box will be running a daily competition to win top prizes!

Ebuyer.com’s MD Stuart Carlisle commented on the upcoming show. “We’re delighted to be back at the Gadget Show after a few years away. We’ve got some great products and partners lined up and we’re very keen to give our customers an exclusive look at some of the upcoming tech for 2015.”

The annual show, taking place 7-12 April 2015 at the NEC Birmingham, is expected to attract 80,000+ gadget fans over the six days.
