Optoma offers extra support for education

London, 13 January 2014: A new scheme to provide extra support to colleges and universities has just been launched by award-winning projector specialists, Optoma.

To mark the start of the New Year, Optoma is offering all educational institutions two years additional on-site warranty for free across six of its projectors. This supplements the three-year warranty that comes as standard with all its projectors and means that the projectors are effectively covered for five years.

Nick Price, Optoma’s Territory Manager, said: “We know how important it is for our education clients to have reliable equipment, which is why we are launching this additional scheme. Our consistently-glowing customer reviews reflect the high quality of our projectors and the infrequency of problems relating to them, but this new scheme gives that extra piece of mind.

“The on-site warranty means the projector will be replaced in the unlikely event it is found to be faulty, and that Optoma’s dedicated UK-based helpline will provide customer support to answer questions and queries on projectors.”

Colleges and universities can benefit from the new offer until March 2014 on the following models: W401, W501, EH500, EH501, EW865-W and EX855.

All models have full 3D capabilities. Their high resolution and brightness rating of over 4500 lumens makes them suitable for the brightest rooms. They are installed with DLP® (Digital Light Processing) technology, pioneered by Texas Instruments, which produces higher quality 3D images and does not suffer image degradation over time as sometimes experienced in other projector technologies. The models, suitable for classrooms, lecture theatres, boardrooms and auditoriums, cost from £900 and vary in terms of resolution, brightness (4,500-6,000 lumens), speaker strength, connectivity and throw ratio.

Optoma is offering a free demonstration to all education institutions by contacting Kendra Ingram via [email protected] or call 01923 691 853.
