Optoma launches ML750 - the new 700 LED lumens ultra-portable HD ready projector

London, 22 January 2014: Optoma has unveiled its latest addition to the ultra-portable LED projector range. The new Optoma LED-powered ML750 is capable of 700 ANSI lumens combined with HDMI/ MHL connectivity for connection to mobile devices.

The ML750 incorporates a media player, native office viewer and built-in speaker. Projection without a laptop is straightforward using the built-in memory, a microSD card slot or USB connection. The Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) technology provides connectivity to a laptop, PC, games console or Blu-ray™ player with HDMI to view business files, photos, videos and listen to music if required.

Head of Product Management Justin Halls commented. “The Optoma ML750 sets the standard for ultra portable projectors. The perceived brightness of an LED projector can be up to twice that of an equivalent lamp based projector. And the extraordinary life of LEDs will ensure the ML750 will stay clear and bright.”

Weighing just 380g and measuring 105 x 106 x 39mm (W x D x H), the ML750 is ideal for presentations from a mobile phone or tablet using the free App: “EZ View”. Available for both Android and iOS devices, “EZ View” provides the freedom to wirelessly share and present documents, photos or videos. And the device’s camera effectively turns it into a document camera for a more collaborative experience.

Presentation material can be wirelessly displayed from a PC, Mac or mobile device using the optional mini Wi-Fi dongle that connects to the ML750’s USB port. Projecting photos, videos, Microsoft Office and Adobe PDFs is straightforward with full file support, so no need for conversion. With instant power On/Off LED technology, the ML750 is primed for instant plug-and-play viewing on the move.
