Optoma launch the DC350 next generation flexible neck Visualiser

Optoma DC350 Visualiser

Teaching staff and students will now be able to share work with the whole class, thanks to a new Visualiser launched by award-winning projector specialists, Optoma.

Suitable for classrooms, lecture theatres, boardrooms and auditoriums, the new DC350 is light-weight, portable and easy to move between rooms. The 5 megapixel camera, 40x zoom and 30 frames-per-second video produces incredible detail to the tiniest objects.

As well as visualising 3D objects and text, the new DC350 can turn lessons into video through its recording feature.  These videos and photographs can be used in future presentations by saving them to the on-board memory or to a SD card, or simply transferring them to a PC using the USB cable supplied.

Justin Halls, Head of Product Management at Optoma commented: “The sleek design and robust build quality of the new DC350 makes it as suitable for the classroom as it is for the boardroom or training venue. The goose neck feature means that precise positioning is incredibly straightforward.  It enables the presenter to show tiny 3D objects or passages of text, bringing crystal clear detail to the big screen.”

The Visualiser has an excellent automatic focus, with the manual focus also available when additional critical detail needs to be shown. Images can be saved at 0.8MP, 2MP, 5MP and 12MP resolutions and up to 22.5MB can be saved to the DC350’s on-board memory or to the SD card.  The Visualiser also has eco-friendly LED lighting built into the head to produce additional lighting when required. This can be switched off to save energy.

The Visualiser can be controlled either via the remote control or the base of the unit. A full set of cables and remote control is included.
