Optoma launches 400 and 400+ series

Businesses and education establishments will have brighter, higher resolution presentations across their boardrooms, meeting rooms and classrooms with Optoma’s latest range of multipurpose professional projectors.

Designed to replace legacy LCD projectors with a similar throw, the six new models EH400+, EH400, W400+, W400, X400+ and X400 offer bright 4,000 lumens and long lamp life for a low overall cost of ownership.

Joe Ahmed, head of marketing at Optoma EMEA, commented: “We are launching this new range of projectors specifically for professional users who want higher quality images for both data and video and a level of brightness suitable for almost any meeting room.  They have similar throw ratios to old LCD projectors making it quick and easy for businesses to swap over.

“All models have Eco+ modes for energy saving and an exceptional lamp life of 10,000 hours for added savings. And because they are installed with DLP® technology, their image quality and brightness will not degrade over time.”

With a range of resolutions (1080p, WXGA and XGA) and a brightness rating of 4,000 lumens, these projectors are suitable for use any time of day.

Convenient with multiple inputs including HDMI and MHL, these projectors are ideal for connecting HDMI dongles such as the Google Chromecast and the Optoma HDCast Pro enabling users to connect to laptops, PCs or Blu-ray players.

The 400+ series features two HDMI inputs and two VGA inputs, making switching between sources simply the push of a button. They also have networking capabilities that make it easy to manage the projectors remotely via RJ45.

Weighing just 2.52kg, these compact models offer an extremely flexible solution for easy installation or presentations on the move. The 400+ series comes complete with a built-in speaker that delivers powerful 10W audio, with exceptional sound quality. Despite the small dimensions of the projector, the level of audio created will easily fill an office or classroom space.
