Two versatile projectors for Optoma’s business range

London, 9 April 2014: Optoma has expanded its range of projectors targeted to businesses and educational institutions with the launch of two new high-specification projectors – the EH415 and W415.

Both projectors boast a brightness rating of more than 4,000 lumens and offer vertical lens shift, as well as full support for system integration and control. The crisp white unit weighs just 3.4kg, making it an extremely flexible solution for installation or presentations on the move.

Justin Halls, Head of Product Management at Optoma, commented:“We are delighted to unveil the brand new 1080p EH415 and WXGA W415 projectors. This compact projector has comparable features and performance to larger installation models, allowing greater flexibility to meet customer needs.”

The high native resolution (1080p and WXGA) and brightness of more than 4000 lumens make the projectors suitable for businesses that want higher resolution and higher quality imagery in their meeting rooms. The projectors even offer full support for DICOM simulation mode especially tuned for viewing greyscale images and X-rays and scans during medical training.

Both models have Eco+ modes for energy saving and can be managed and monitored remotely through network control as they offer full support for Crestron, Extron, AMX, PJ-Link and Telnet LAN commands. And because they are installed with DLP® technology their image quality and colours will not degrade over time.

The EH415 and W415 include optical zoom and vertical lens shift which makes installation easy when organisations are replacing their existing projectors.

Both projectors support multiple 3D formats from various devices such as PC, Blu-ray 3DTM, Sony® PS3, Microsoft® Xbox 360 or 3D TV broadcast system.

The two new models EH415 and W415 vary in terms of resolution, brightness and throw ratio.
